Test 1
Your Buyer Already Looked You Up. The Question Is What They Found.
Somebody typed your company name into ChatGPT last week. Maybe Perplexity. Maybe they did the old-fashioned thing and used Google, except Google handed them an AI summary before it handed them a single blue link.
https://pod.co/home-service-hustle/ep-52-bryan-durkin-scaling-with-intention-blueprint-for-follow-up-and-team-building-in-home-servicesYou never saw it happen. No form fill, no phone ring, no line in the analytics. And if the answer they got was thin, generic, or flat-out wrong, that deal quietly went somewhere else.
That is the whole reason MVP Authority Hub exists.
AI Visibility Is Not Another Marketing Channel
Here is the part most owners get wrong. They file "AI search" next to paid ads and email and trade shows, as one more line item to maybe get to next quarter.
Wrong bucket.
AI visibility sits on top of everything else you already pay for. Somebody sees your booth, your LinkedIn post, your referral from a buddy in the industry. Then they go check. That check now happens inside an answer engine that either has something to say about you or does not. If it does not, the money you spent generating that first impression evaporates at the verification step.
Every channel you fund now runs through a filter you did not build and cannot see.
What Actually Gets a Company Cited
Answer engines are not judging your brand the way a human judges it. They read raw HTML. They look for clear claims, specific numbers, named people, real answers to real questions, and structured markup that tells a machine what it is looking at. Google's own guidance on structured data covers a good chunk of the technical half, and the schema.org FAQPage spec is worth a skim if you have a developer on staff.
The technical half is the easy half. Honestly.
The hard half is that most B2B sites have nothing worth citing. Twelve pages of "we deliver quality solutions," a team photo from 2019, and a contact form. There is no opinion in there. No proof. Nothing a machine could pull out and hand to a buyer as an answer.
You cannot schema-markup your way out of having nothing to say.
Start With the Leak Report
Before anybody buys anything, we run the AI Visibility Leak Report™ on their site.
It is a dual-fetch audit. One pass pulls the raw HTML exactly the way an AI crawler sees it, with a bot user agent and zero JavaScript rendering. A second pass pulls the fully rendered page the way your browser sees it. Then we compare.
The gap between those two is where companies bleed. Sites built on page builders and heavy JavaScript frameworks look gorgeous to you and come back nearly blank to a crawler. We have scored sites in the low twenties out of a hundred that the owner was genuinely proud of. Beautiful site. Invisible site.
Six weighted categories, one score, one list of what to fix in order. Turnaround is 24 hours, end of business the next day. It costs nothing and it is the front door to everything else we do.
Three Ways In, Sorted by How Much You Want to Talk
We sort clients by one question: what raw material do you already have?
Content Engine is for the operator who already runs a podcast or a video show and has a catalog sitting there doing nothing. We do not create new content in this lane. We restructure what exists so answer engines can actually parse it, cite it, and surface it.
Authority Launch is a monthly journalist-style interview. Not weekly. Monthly. Somebody who knows how to conduct a real interview asks you sharp questions for an hour, and that hour becomes the month's content. Video preferred, not required.
Invisible Authority is the one people react to. You never record anything. Not once. We mine what you have already written over the years, the proposals, the sales decks, the long emails you fire off explaining why the cheap option fails, the internal training docs, and we pull the authority out of those.
That last lane exists because a lot of sharp operators are miserable on camera and have quietly decided that means they cannot build a brand. They can. They just cannot do it the way the marketing world keeps insisting.
Why Podcast-First and Not Blog-First
Look, I have watched plenty of businesses try the blog route. A writer who does not know the industry produces something readable and completely hollow, and the owner reads it and thinks "that is not how I would say it," and nothing ever gets published.
An hour of you talking solves that. Recorded conversation gives you the real vocabulary, the real objections, the specific numbers, the war story about the job that went sideways in 2021. All of it is unfakeable and all of it is exactly what a machine needs in order to have something concrete to say about you.
One recording becomes the article, the clips, the FAQ answers, the LinkedIn posts, the show page. Written down, marked up, structured so it can be found.
That is the whole system. An hour a month, or nothing at all if you pick the Invisible lane.
Who This Is Built For
Industrial and trades B2B operators, roughly $2M to $25M in revenue. Companies with genuine technical depth, long sales cycles, and a real reputation among the people who already know them. The problem is never expertise. It is that the expertise lives in the founder's head and in a filing cabinet instead of anywhere a buyer or a machine can reach it.
If you sell a commodity on price, this is not your thing. If a buyer needs to trust you before they spend six figures, it is.
Worth saying plainly: this is not a founder-personality play. We are not trying to turn you into a LinkedIn character. The goal is that your company gets cited, whether or not anybody knows your face.
Questions We Get Constantly
How long before I show up in AI answers?
Technical fixes can register in weeks. Getting cited as a source is a content-depth problem and runs longer, usually one to two quarters of consistent output.
Does this replace my SEO?
No, it overlaps heavily with it. Clean structure and clear answers help both. But traditional SEO optimizes for a ranked list of links, and AEO optimizes for being the source inside a generated answer. Different finish lines.
Can I do this myself?
Some of it, yes. The audit findings are readable and a decent developer can knock out the technical items. The part that breaks people is producing content consistently for two quarters straight. That is what the fulfillment team is for.
Is AI writing my content?
Your words, your voice, your recording. AI handles formatting, clipping, and structuring. It is not generating opinions you never held.
Start With the Score
Run the AI Visibility Leak Report™ on your site. See the number. Then decide whether it bothers you enough to fix.
Most owners find out they are somewhere in the thirties. Their competitor down the road is too. Whoever fixes it first gets the citation, and citations are winner-take-most.
